Account and session
Supabase provides the project’s authentication and database infrastructure. You sign in to Instinct & Intellect; you do not create a separate Supabase-branded account. The browser keeps session information so sign-in can persist and sign-out can work.
Adult access
The current design stores a confirmation timestamp and policy version when a signed-in user confirms they are at least 18. It does not ask for a birth date or identity document. Self-attestation is not identity verification or proof of age.

Account access and adult confirmation do not reveal an explicit item automatically. Each item remains covered until separately revealed. We do not promise that material shown on a screen cannot be copied or saved.
Comments and reactions
Comments are held for moderation before appearing publicly. Rejected comments and moderation notes are deleted after 90 days. Published comments remain while public unless removed by the member or moderation.
Assessments
Raw solo answers and written context are not stored by the service. Optional coarse community-insight bands remain until you withdraw them or delete your account. Pair-comparison snapshots are deleted within 60 days; expired invitation records are deleted after a further 30-day troubleshooting window.
Media withdrawal
When an authorized person withdraws intimate media, we unpublish it first, remove the primary stored copy within 7 days, and allow up to 35 days for ordinary backup rotation unless a documented legal hold applies.
Local editorial AI
The founders’ local AI drafting system is an editorial workspace, not a public chat service. Account details, private communications, and non-public comments are not part of that drafting path.
Private After Dark fiction
When you deliberately request a fiction chapter, the story bible, adult-character notes, boundaries, prior chapter summaries, and your direction for that chapter are sent through a private Supabase job to the founders’ local fiction model. LM Studio is not exposed to the public internet. Drafts remain visible only to your account unless you publish them. Completed and failed generation-job records are deleted after 30 days; your stories and chapters remain until you delete the story or your account.
Infrastructure
Cloudflare delivers the web application. Supabase provides authentication, database, and planned media-storage services. Technical service logs may exist; their exact contents and retention must be verified before the final policy is published.
Data minimization
The project’s default is to avoid collecting data merely because it might be useful later. Optional assessment context must not become an excuse to collect names, workplaces, addresses, partner identities, or precise locations.
Optional two-person profile comparison
A solo Kink Discovery Profile stays in the browser tab. If you deliberately join a private pair session, you may separately choose to save a minimized, versioned snapshot and then opt into a mutual-only conversation matrix. The other member cannot read your questionnaire rows, skipped answers, one-sided interests, or boundaries. You can revoke comparison consent or delete your own saved snapshot from the pair page.
Your choices
You can withdraw community-insight contributions inside the assessment, remove your own pending comments, and request account deletion from your account page. Deletion requests immediately revoke preview access and remove community-insight bands; account closure and any required provenance review are completed by a founder.
Human support
The site is not monitored as a crisis service. Our verified support page lists U.S. resources for domestic violence, sexual assault, and emotional crisis, plus guidance to use local services elsewhere.
